Is it possible to define custom "commands" in ikiwiki? For example if I write &%test&% in the source of a wiki-page in markdown, the word "test" should be displayed red, bold and italic.
Plugins can be written that do this kind of arbitrary transformation. For example, the smiley plugin does.
However, this is not usual in ikiwiki, instead there is a specific syntax for a directive that is used consistently for a great many things of this sort.
